Radio Repair Girl (Drongo). Storm Gordon sings backing vocals on this track. This track uses some tape loops taken in Nepal.

Stone Against Stone (Drongo). I listened to a session by a drummer called Neil Sommerville (Edinburgh) go down to this track while on the phone in India.

The Waves (Drongo). This track was co-developed by Drongo and the Navigator. This track is an epic and was a nightmare to finish but a joy when done. The bar and chord structure is written around a series of numbers in nature known as the Golden Ratio. Colin Steele (trumpet, Edinburgh) plays trumpet on the back half.

Radio Wonderlust Vol 1. offers a first taste of Storm Gordon's soulful romanticism & downtempo dance rhythms; Dravidian's Carnathic-inspired vocal style & mix of Indian & sampled/hip-hop beats; the surreal songwriting & warped pop of Drongo; and culminating in the extended ambient/downtempo collaboration, 'The Waves' -co-written by Drongo & the Navigator.

Scottish composer/producer David Galbraith , aka the Navigator (ex-Botany 5), worked closely with these three original & diverse artists to create an album that seamlessly flows from one song to the next - revealing the shared optimism & close underlying bond between them as a musical collective at this time.
